Competition
Organisms are in competition when they are both competing for the same resource. This may be food or land etc..
An example of this would be with a Hawk and Sooty Owl. Both of these organisms are carnivores and so they would be hunting for the same food. They would clash exactly because of this reason and competition would definitely rise between the two organisms.

Commensalism
Commensalism is a relationship between two organisms where one organism benefits from the other but the other is unaffected.
An example of this is a fern growing off a tree. The fern benefits from this relationship as it has somewhere to live and it is able to receive nutrients from the tree to help sustain it whereas the tree is unaffected.

Mutualism
Mutualism is the relationship between two organism within the same ecosystem that live closely together and both benefit from their relationship.
An example of this would be the relationship between ants and fungi in a rainforest. While the ants protect the fungi from pests and feed the fungi as well, the fungi provides the ants with nutrients.
